Enabling Deposit Auto-Collecting
To allow customers to submit payment as a deposit when creating an order on the storefront, follow these steps:
Go to the Storefront tab in your menu
Click the button in the top that says Settings
After selecting your site, click on Pages then Checkout
3. Click the section called "Payment Information"
4. In the pop-up menu to the right, toggle "Yes" for collect deposits
5. Save changes, and when you are ready to update the site, click Publish Draft
This will allow customers to provide payment up front as a deposit when creating an order. When the reservation is created you will view the deposit as an option to use when processing payment for an invoice.
