Connect Aircall to Renterra

Connect your Aircall account, choose phone numbers, and check your call-history integration.

Aircall is available to enabled organizations. Contact support if the integration is not available in your account.

Connect Aircall to review supported call history and available recordings in Renterra Communications. You will continue making and receiving calls in Aircall.

Before you start

  • Sign in to the Renterra organization you want to connect.

  • You need permission to manage Communications settings in Renterra.

  • You must be an administrator of the Aircall account you are connecting.

  • The Aircall integration must be enabled for your Renterra organization. Contact Renterra support if you do not see it.

  • Decide which Aircall phone numbers to share with the integration.

  • Review your recording-consent, privacy, and retention obligations before importing recordings.

  • To import audio and create transcripts, enable recording for the relevant incoming and outgoing calls in your Aircall number settings. Recording must be enabled before the call; enabling it later cannot recover unrecorded audio. Aircall's own transcription setting is not required for Renterra to transcribe an imported recording.

Connect your account

  1. In Renterra, open Settings → Communications.

  2. In Phone Numbers, select Manage.

  3. Select Add Integration, then Aircall. During the beta, this appears as Aircall (beta).

  4. Allow the authorization window to open. If your browser blocks pop-ups, allow pop-ups for Renterra and try again.

  5. Sign in to Aircall if prompted. Review and approve the requested access.

  6. Complete Aircall's number-selection step and assign the phone numbers you want Renterra to import.

  7. Return to Renterra and check that the connection appears under Integrations.

  8. Allow the initial history import to run. You can use the connection's Sync action to request a sync.

Do not switch Renterra organizations while authorization is in progress.

Check your numbers and permissions

In Communications settings, review the imported external call numbers and configure the access available to your team. Assigning a number in Aircall determines what the integration can import; Renterra permissions determine which teammates can see that imported history.

The initial import can include up to six months of history that Aircall still retains. A new account or number may have no call history yet.

Test the connection

  1. Make a test call using an assigned Aircall number and a consenting test participant.

  2. End the call and allow time for Aircall to finish processing it.

  3. Request a sync or wait for the next scheduled import.

  4. Open Communications → Calls in Renterra and find the call.

  5. Open the call's conversation, then select Call recording to check playback. Eligible recordings are processed for transcription after import.

Change the assigned Aircall numbers

Open the installed Renterra app in the Aircall Dashboard and update its number assignments. Renterra reads the assigned numbers during sync. Removing a number from the integration does not erase previously imported history from Renterra.

Reauthorize or disconnect

If the connection reports Reauthorization required, use its reauthorization action and authorize the same intended account again. Reauthorization retains the existing connection's import progress.

To stop importing, use Disconnect in Renterra. Renterra removes its stored credential but keeps previously imported calls and recordings. To revoke the installation at Aircall as well, remove the app from the Aircall Dashboard.

Troubleshooting

Aircall is missing or unavailable: Contact Renterra support to check integration availability and your management permissions.

Authorization fails: Confirm you are signed into the intended Renterra organization and an administrator account in Aircall. Restart the connection flow rather than reusing an old authorization link. If Aircall displays an error before approval, send support the visible error and time of the attempt; do not share authorization URLs or credentials.

No calls appear: Check that the correct numbers are assigned in Aircall, that those numbers have completed calls, and that your Renterra user has access. Check connection status and request a sync. Import progress pauses if no numbers are assigned.

A recording or transcript is missing: Check recording availability and retention in Aircall. Not every call has a recording, and recordings may become available after the call record. Transcription follows successful recording import.
