Updated over 6 months ago

You may wish to see a breakdown of your daily and monthly Revenues by Revenue Type. In order to do so, please follow the steps below.

  1. Select "Analytics" from the left hand side.

  2. Click the "View Ledger" button in the top right hand corner.

  3. Press on Export in the top right corner and input the time period you would like to run the report for. Press "Download" in the top right hand corner.

  4. Open the Downloaded File in Excel or Google Sheets

  5. Insert a new column titled "Net Total" in Excel to calculate the Net of Debits and Credits

  6. In the top cell of that column, insert the formula of =D2-C2 that subtracts the Debits from the Credits (=Credits-Debits). Hover your mouse over the bottom right hand of the corner of the cell that has the formula until you see a cross symbol appear. When you see the cross symbol, click and drag down which will add the formula to the rest of the column using the respective row.

See below for a visual representation of step 6

  7. Select all data, and in the Excel menu go to "Insert" and then select "Pivot Table."

  8. Add the Account into the Columns section, Time into the Rows section, and Net Total into the Values section.

  9. Remove certain Columns of the Accounts to only include relevant Revenue Accounts (e.g. Rental Revenue, Sale Income, Logistics Delivery etc.) using the filter button that appears in the Pivot Table

After this, the next step will vary based on whether you would like a monthly or daily report.

To Create the Daily Revenue Report In the Excel menu go to "PivotTable Analyze" --> Group Selection and select "Days"

To Create the Monthly Revenue Report In the Excel menu go to "PivotTable Analyze" --> Group Selection and select "Months"
