How do I create an aging report?

If you would like to create an aging report, please follow the steps below.

  1. Go to the Invoices tab on the left side of Renterra.

  2. Using the quick filter button at the top, filter to just show "Unpaid" invoices.

  3. At the bottom of the table if you scroll down, there is a button to "Export" to Excel --> Download as CSV (Note: make sure all invoices are showing by changing the "Rows per page" to 1000).

  4. Once you've downloaded the file to Excel, highlight all of the data and from the top menu select "Insert" --> "Pivot Table" --> "New Worksheet" --> "Ok."

  5. A new tab will open with a space that says "To build a report, choose fields from the PivotTable Field List"...click on that part of the page and a place to build the pivot table will appear on the Right Side of Excel.

  6. Drag and drop "Customer" in to the "Rows" section, "Age Status" into the "Columns" section, and "Total" into the "Values" section.

  7. The report you are looking for should now appear!
