How to I add Line Item Notes to Inventory Items? How do I show these notes on Invoices and Contracts?

You may wish to show an Item's Notes on a customer's Invoice or Contract. In order to do so, please follow the steps below.

Adding Line Item Notes to Inventory Items

  1. Enter the specific item's page you would like to add a note to.

  2. Select the pencil icon under "Item Info."

  3. Type in Notes under "Invoice Note."

  4. Press "Submit" in the top right hand corner.

Changing default Organizational settings for Line Item notes on Invoices and Contracts?

  1. Select "Admin" from the left hand side.

  2. Select the "Orders" tab.

  3. Press the Pencil icon in the "Document Settings" box.

  4. Click the checkbox next to "Show Line Item Notes."

  5. Press "Submit" in the top right hand corner.

  1. Enter the Invoice you are interested in turning on the Line Item note for.

  2. Select the "Edit" button at the top of the page.

  3. Scroll down to "Display Options"

  4. Select the checkbox next to "Show Line Item Notes."

  5. Press "Submit" in the top right hand corner.
