How to Automatically Expire a Quote

It is possible to define a schedule to automatically expire a quote after a given amount of days. This feature is useful if you find you are often forgetting to Expire Quotes long after the period they are valid.

Configuration Automation

To set up the automation for expiring a quote, follow these steps:

1. Log in as an admin and navigate to the Admin page.

2. Click on the Order subpage to manage the automation settings.

3. Navigate to Automation --> Expire Quotes

4. Specify the number of days after an order is created to trigger the move to an expired order. This can be any positive number.

4. To disable the automation at any time, simply remove the value.

Note: The inputted time represents the time from when the quote was created, not when the order starts!

Once the automation is set up, any quote that reaches the specified number of days after creation will automatically be moved to an expired order. This helps to keep your quotes up-to-date and ensures that customers are receiving accurate information.
