Order Status: This status is designed to represent the status of an Order at the current point in time. The options for Customer Status are the following and proceed in the Order shown below:

Quote: A summary of a customer’s information and requested Order details. A quote does not reserve the equipment nor block availability from creating a Reservation / Rental to another customer. You can either “Expire” a Quote or “Convert to Reservation”.

Reservation: Similar to a Quote, but is a firmer commitment indicating the Customer intends to proceed with the Order. This prohibits booking an Order to another customer during the same time frame.

Rental: Before a delivery goes out or when the customer comes in to pick up their Order, the Rental is confirmed, opening the rental contract and starting the rental. If the Order is for Delivery, the Customer’s will not start being charged until the Order is actually dropped off at the job-site.

Completed: When every single Item on an Order is Checked In, the Order automatically converts to Completed. The purpose of this Status is to allow you to adjust / add / subtract any charges before closing the Order.

Closed: When an Order is Closed, the details of the Order can no longer be modified. Any billing adjustments at when an Order is closed have to be completed via a Credit Memo. To convert an Order from Completed to Closed, you must have $0.00 Outstanding on the Order. This means all charges must be Invoiced or Paid.
