What is a Customer's Statement?
Customer statements in Renterra provide a comprehensive view of all "Unpaid" invoices on a specific customer's account. This feature allows you to easily view, send, and process payments against statements. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to view and process a customer statement.
Viewing a Customer's Statement
To view a customer's statement, follow these simple steps:
1. Navigate to the individual customer page for the customer in question.
2. Select the 3 dots icon in the top-right portion of the page
2. Click on the "Invoice Statement" button from the dropdown menu
Sending a Customer's Statement
To send a customer their statement and process a payment against it, follow these steps:
1. Once you have a customer's statement open, you can print or send the statement using the buttons at the top of the page.
2. If you choose to "Send" the statement, a PDF of the statement will be sent to the email address on file for that customer.
Processing a Payment Against a Customer's Statement
To process a payment against a customer's statement, follow these steps:
1. Open the customer's statement and click on the "Process Payment" button.
2. Select the correct payment method and click the "Process Payment" button.
