Order's 'Owner': This person is responsible for the order, such as invoicing or managing dates, and may differ from the salesperson (e.g. the counter person tagged to this order)
Work Order's 'Owner': This person is whoever will be in charge of making sure the maintenance is completed, most likely a mechanic.
In order to assign an Owner to an Order, please follow the below steps.
Order Owner
Go into the Order and then its Settings.
Click the pencil icon for the "Options" box.
Use the drop down to select "Owner" and press "Submit" in the top right hand corner.
Note: You can easily view Orders you are assigned to by going to Orders and clicking the "My Orders" filter at the top of the screen
Work Order Owner
Enter the Work Order
Click the pencil icon for the "Summary" box.
Use the drop down to select who it is "Assigned To." Press "Submit" in the top right hand corner.
