If your organization has partnerships with other rental companies in which you are able to rent equipment in their inventory, you can follow this guide to make that work for you in Renterra. We recommend the following:
Create a new Bulk type Item in your inventory with a name like "Re-Rental Item". The quantity and price of this item can be arbitrary.
When creating New Orders, if you anticipate an order having a Re-Rental item, add the Re-Rental item and click "Create Quote".
Once the Quote is created, click the Edit icon next to the re-rental item.
In the "Edit Item on Order" Drawer, you can change the display description and the rates for the item
Once you click Submit, the item will show as its custom description in both the order details, as well as the invoices and contract.
If you regularly re-rent multiple items, you'll need to create multiple entries in your inventory (i.e. "ReRental Slot 1", "ReRental Slot 2")
